Our customers feedback
Lota Ulmane - I highly recommend her to everyone!
Linda Samsonova - it's astonishing how much we can feel even without seeing. There's no need to be afraid.
I feel like we experienced something that can only be had once in a lifetime. Thank God we can see, because understanding how you can feel with touch, hearing, taste, and what I haven't mentioned – smell, is unique. You understand how you can adapt. The guide here is simply fantastic – what a pleasant voice the person has! I get goosebumps all over my body. This experience surely leaves no one indifferent, does it? Yes, thank you! It was definitely worth it.
Thank you for this experience! It was very interesting and nice to chat with the guide, and we really enjoyed it. I learned a tremendous amount of new things. This world seemingly exists beside you, but when you turn off the light, everything becomes much more intense – truly a very interesting experience. I also really liked the museum. The guide told us more about everyday life, and it is very unusual how much you feel the surrounding environment when you see nothing. Only then do you understand how essential sight is. Talking about the world of the blind is completely different when you have just experienced it yourself.
Today we had a date in complete darkness. We liked it very, very much. It was something new - unusual feelings, completely out of reality. When you rely only on your senses, apart from sight, the sensations become more intense. We had to understand where we were, realize what kind of room it was, what kind of furniture - everything had to be felt. We were also in a shop, and it was difficult to understand some items that we use every day. But overall, we understood everything, found everything, and want to confidently recommend everyone to visit this place. You will like it very, very much!
It is really worth a try. Feedback from the Lithuanian High School in Riga.
An interesting event where we learned about the daily life of a blind person. It was so strange when we entered the darkness - at first, it even hurt our eyes, but then we began to acclimatise, and it became increasingly interesting. It was very surprising that we could explore the darkness, and the guide could tell us everything, as she herself was also blind but led us forward. It was very interesting. We really enjoyed it!
