Interactive educational tour in the darkness for your students

How much do we know about the world around us when we close our eyes? "Sensorium" offers students a unique opportunity to immerse themselves in a world of sensations, where sight recedes to give way to other senses. Our interactive tour in complete darkness will help children develop empathy, understand diversity, and discover new emotions.

Program description

During the excursion, students:

  • Will dive into 4 interactive rooms: living room, supermarket, museum & city park, and café

  • Will develop other senses - relying on hearing, touch, smell, and taste

  • Will get to know cultural values - will hear folk songs, recognize Latvian symbols, learn about the most significant objects in Latvia

  • Will learn interactively: Interaction with the environment promotes active learning and curiosity

How does the excursion take place?

Students, together with an experienced guide, embark on a journey through various spaces in complete darkness, developing their senses and exploring the world anew. After the excursion, students have the opportunity to ask questions and share their impressions.

How does payment work using the support of the Latvian school bags?

Ticket price is 14 EUR/person, which can be partially or fully covered by the "Latvijas skolas soma" funding

  • After the visit, we issue an invoice to the school for the amount covered by the "Latvian School Bag"

  • The school submits the invoice to its municipality according to the amount of funding

  • For schools in Riga, we submit invoices through the eriga.lv portal, which simplifies the process

  • The remaining amount can be paid on-site in cash or via bank transfer
